Kabela Designs - Fine Quality Filligree FindingsCJ Beaders are proud to be Sole UK Distributors for Kabela Designs, based in the USA. Kabela Design's name came from the blending of Beth and Tom Botak's two oldest grand daughters, Katie and Isabella, to create Kabela. In 2007 Beth was looking to have her own line of unique findings that had a great story, history and quality that she could stand behind. They started with a line of antique brass stampings from dies dating back as far as 1904. They covered designs from the art deco, art nouveau, and filigree periods. All of those products are made in the United States from raw brass which is then stripped, cleaned and plated with an antique finish. Kabela's brass is lacquered for longevity! Kabela Design, Vintage with a Modern Twist, continued to evolve since its original conception. Beth Botak continues to design and develop new pieces and products to add to the line. There is the ever popular antique copper finish, stardust frosted gold finish, and a brand New exclusively designed Kabezels Artisan Bezels! They have charms and chain set with Swarovski Crystals, and the newest, European Filigree from the 1950's as well as a magnificent stash of true vintage pieces circa 1930's! To complete the line are hand-made artisan clasps created from the Kabela components, like the "Flutterby" which is a focal pendant and a front closure to your design.
