What makes these Beads different is all about quality - the Beads are Plated in New York City and until recently have only been available to Professional Jewellers. A special type of Acrylic, with a very hgh melting point is dipped in molten copper. The beads are then electroplated (meaning there is NO Nickel content) with Sterling Silver, Brass or Gold.  The plating is of a very high quality and is much thicker than the plating applied by other manufacturers. Some beads are then rubbed with a paste to give the various finishes. Finally, a non-tarnish coating is applied.
